Google
Chromecast
What started off as an internal skunkworks project called "Dongle", the Google Chromecast sparked a revolution in casting technologies and remains the most selling piece of hardware Google has ever created.

The Chromecast is a small Android-powered computer that can connect to the internet and play video, audio, and project your computer screen on any HDMI supported display. When you hit the Cast button in a supported app, the Chromecast connects to the internet and streams content directly - simplifying the discovery and viewing experience for entertainment. The living room was forever transformed with a simple tap on your smartphone, tablet, or computer, and ushered in Google's entry into mass market hardware creation.
Chromecast appeared on several lists of top technology innovations. Time named it one of the 10 best gadgets of the decade, saying, "Chromecast's influence on streaming media can't be understated."

Our impact
In the early stages of the products conception, we worked with the Google TV team to define strategy, design, prototyping, and brought hardware and industrial design competencies to the company. We helped Google make a bold step outside of software services and establish itself as a major player in the consumer electronics market.
