The introduction of Samsung's Gear IconX and Galaxy Buds paved the way for Samsung to become the first mass consumer brand to launch and shape the new and emerging hearable category.

Samsung products aren’t just packed with the latest technological advancements, they also look great and work seamlessly with your smartphone and connected devices. The innovative and iconic shape produced an ergonomic form factor for everyday wear which also improved sound quality while looking less protrusive and more natural in your ears.


Samsung’s investment in developing truly wireless earbuds helped to shape the company as a first mover in exciting new product categories and positioned the brand as an innovation leader amongst other mass consumer electronics peers.

Our impact
We worked directly with Samsung C-levels, product planning, and R&D to bring the product and technology to life, shaping and delivering the end-to-end product definition and experience. We drove the category incubation from ideation, design, through final production, and helped propel Samsung as an innovation leader in the new and emerging hearable space. The product line-up helped Samsung shed its prior reputation as a fast follower and established it as a dominant force in the evolving in-ear wearable category.
