A new kind of phone deserved a new kind of phone service. Palm partnered with US Mobile to create the one-of-a-kind low cost data plan with a seamless customer experience.
The custom phone plans were perfect for the person who is on-the-go and looking for more affordable options to connect their Palm. Customers that were using Palm as a secondary phone for the gym or parents connecting their kids with their first smartphone, the $5/month plan was a no-brainer compared to far more expensive options available from the big phone carriers.
Customers who purchased a Palm smartphone also received a free SIM card and a free month of service of the Ultimate Plan. The seamless user experience eliminated any trips to a carrier store, allowing customers to activate their device out of box using an app or website.
Our impact
We worked directly with US Mobile and Palm to bring the service and technology to life, shaping and delivering the end-to-end definition, design, and experience. We drove the device plan's incubation from ideation, design, through final production, and helped launch a new phone service which delighted customers nationwide.
